Credit Karma Tax automatically rounds to the closest whole dollar for when you e-file your federal and state tax returns.
You should enter numbers exactly how you see them on your forms, and we’ll take care of all of the rounding when we prepare your returns.
Credit Karma Tax’s rounding policy on entered values follows IRS guidelines: Amounts entered with 50 cents or more will be rounded up to the next dollar, while amounts of 49 cents or less will round down. For example, $1.29 will round to $1.00 and $2.51 will round to $3.00 on values you enter into the site.
