Credit freezes generally restrict access to your credit reports in order to help you protect your credit. After you sign up for Credit Karma, you can add a security freeze to your reports without affecting your Credit Karma account. Security freezes only affect your access to Credit Karma during the sign up process.
What if I remove the security freeze(s)?

What if I have a bypass code or temporary lift?
Though you may be able to temporarily remove a freeze for other purposes, like applying for credit, a bypass code or temporary lift will not work to sign up for Credit Karma.
I’m already signed up. Can I put a security freeze on my reports and still use Credit Karma?
Once you’re already signed up, you can add a security freeze to your reports without affecting your Credit Karma account. Security freezes only block your access to Credit Karma during the sign up process.
